Who are the training camp sleepers?

Lonnie Harvey – A giant in the middle of the defense at 342 pounds, Harvey is a pure run stuffer at nose tackle. Still, Harvey has respectable athleticism for a man his size and a winning attitude. Depending on the number of true nose tackles that the coaching staff elects to keep, Harvey has a legitimate shot to make the 53-man roster.

Michael Matthews – He’s got plenty of NFL time under his belt as well as a Super Bowl ring, but to Bills fans he’s a virtual unknown. That could change in a short time. At a position that has lacked dependable depth in recent years, the hard blocking tight end that flashed as a capable pass catcher in the spring could land an important job in Chan Gailey’s offense this fall.

I think these two are gonna make the roster. We're going to need to stop the run and the OL is gonna need help from a blocking TE.

i think lonnie harvey has a real shot at making the roster...i also like danny batten as a 6th rd pick to give us great value

naaman roosevelt i hope make's the PS
i do think arthur moats and joque bell got a shot at opening eyes as well
Bell has potential like Omon did and if he runs more physical than Omon he will land on the PS

dont rule out chad simpson either..espeically if Lynch goes bye bye

i hope Kyle Calloway is a find to cause we need serious depth at OLINE

my sleeper thou i think is gonna be Brian Brohm

I said it a long time ago and I'll say it again.

Harvey will make the roster because of the sheer numbers game. I don't consider Kyle Williams to be a true NT, but the coaching staff thinks he is, so, that gives us Williams and Troupe as our NT's.

Two isn't enough to get through a game, let alone a season. Unless Harvey really sucks it up, he'll make the team by default.

Maybe by merit too. It can happen.

Surprised I didn't see Donald Jones or Chad Jackson listed.

I think UDFA Antonio Coleman has a real shot.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

justa's thread struck me as players he thinks will "earn" the role, not simply win by numbers games, Op.

after ten years of constant disappointment, wouldn't it be amazing if the universe let us have this year and everyone suddenly became an over acheiver. even out depth players were ridiculously good?

Honestly, his signing to me was reminiscent of the Pittsburgh Steelers type of OLB (e.g. Harrison, Woodley). That is, guys who are super productive, but not ideally suited for the position physically. I don't believe Coleman will do nearly as well as Harrison/Woodley have, but I do think he'll make the team and contribute in the future. Maybe, finally, Kelsay will be shoved out if Batten/Ellis/Coleman/future draftee step it up.
