better now than week 6 when jauron has already placed 3 other players on IR, two from the same position and 5'8" Trapezeus is being added to the active roster to play TE/LT/QB and Jauron is clapping and saying, "we really like what we have in the kid."

To go on IR now is as good as just being cut and we can scrape through other teams junk and make our final 53 based on what we need.

I have a bad feeling the injury bug is going to carry over into this year. It's sad how soft Jauron had these guys.

Wasn't Klop injured towards the end of last year? We still have:

          82 Matthews, Michael
          89 Nelson, Shawn
          80 Schouman, Derek
          88 Stupar, Jonathan

Also in putting him on IR it frees up a roster spot that Troup or Spiller will fill.

              Bingo.

Klop was a long shot to make the roster anyway. How exactly did he get injured? I don't remember hearing about it during the spring. This seems to be strange timing to be part of an injury bug.

                No big loss.

However, it is a little concerning to see the IR bug starting so early.

This is not the beginning of an injury bug epidemic. It is the end of a player (at least with the Bills) that had very little chance of making the team, in order to free up a roster spot.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

The Bills took him off of and put him back onto IR already 4 times today.

There will always be a few of these prior to week 1.
