Ch. 4 in Buffalo just reported that according to Forbes Magazine the Bills are now worth $909 million. I am not shocked. Somewhere here years ago, I said the Bills will sell for over $1B when RWS dies. Sadly, I think this will ensure that they will be purchased by somebody outside of the area and taken away.

It's more important where they rank in the 32 that's more indicative of their leverage.

Say a legitimate buyer from LA comes in...
They'll offer around 1.3 billion for the franchise.
Why?
Because they'll get a new stadium and be in a huge market which makes the franchise worth at least 50% more than it is currently.
Hopefully Ralphie gets over his whole "I won't sell the team" thing and do his best to ensure the franchise stays in Buffalo.Comment

That's going to be the killer...whoever does end up with the team is most likely going to have a 'mortgage'. Any hope of the team staying here will rely on the buyer's financial ability to cover the debt and also maintain the team in a poor market.Originally posted by Commissioner
