Preseason Comments:

7/25/2010-Tyler is a workout warrior who is currently flying under the radar. He bench-presses 455 pounds, leg-presses 760 pounds, has 33-inch vertical jump, and was clocked at 4.2 seconds in the shuttle run. Source: http://espn.go.com/blog/ncfnation. However, he supposedly only ran a 4.78 at IU's pro-day. His production went way up last year for the Hoosiers and it will be interesting to see if he can repeat. Hes talented, smart, and plays with his hair on fire. He tore an ACL a few years back. He is being moved inside since Mayberry has departed. He started at strongside backer last year.

11/20/2010- vs. Penn State

3rd Qtr:
14:01- A bit undersized. Has good quickness.
12:51- Flies up and drops Royster for a huge play on the 4th down.
11:14- Plays with fire and wraps up well.
8:05- Bit on the play action, but so did everyone else.
5:54- Plays with a big motor. Wants to be in on every play.
4:03- Light player who is going to get pushed around.

4th Qtr:
14:53- Didn't drop deep enough into coverage but makes the tackle.
14:21- Yet another stop.
8:49- No trouble dropping into coverage.
6:58- slides too wide and gets blocked but still gets off the block and makes the tackle a bit down field.
3:35- Big goal line stand on the QB keeper.

Tyler Replogle is a lunch pail type LBer that will give you his all in every game. He is in on a lot of plays. He has good quick's, tackles well, and manages to get to the ball. He is a bit undersized and may get manhandled at times. His intensity is his best asset and he could contribute right away on special teams. He looks like a late round pick or could go undrafted but he's the type of player you want on your team. The knee injury will be closely looked at.
