Looks like he just can't get that knee back to normal. He was a good story for a couple years!

Is it me, or is it looking more and more like the LB position is going to be a huge liability this year?

whether it is a liability wasnt gonna hinge on DiGiorgio's contributions as an lb in this scheme.

he did play well at times however he will not be missed as a bills player.

however gl john shame for a career to end on an injury.

God speed Johnny Di. It's not delivery, it's DiGiorgio.

I thought he retired last year. I remember reading a story about him where he said the NFL stood for "not for long."

The Bills cut him last year because of his knee

Agree completely.

In terms of what's going to happen on the field this year, this makes very little difference.

In terms of DiGiorgio as a player and a person, it's a shame to see it end like this. It would have been nice to see him get one more shot to make or break his career on the field instead of having it predetermined because of an injury.

DiGi's presence- or lack thereof- will have little bearing on the LB position this year. But yes, it will be a liability. We were hurting for LB's in the C2 and moving to the 3-4 made the situation worse.

We were looking for smaller faster DEs to play in the tampa2.....the thing is smaller, faster 4-3 DEs are actually better suited to play OLB in a 3-4. ILB was taken care of with movind Poz and Mitchell to the inside and signing Davis......I'm actually comfortable with our LBs.

Is it me or did I think we had alot of guys at the position? Isn't DE where we are hurting?

Maybin and Kelsay are both playing LB?
