I'd say pretty good.
I remember a comment from Wood a month or two ago that said Meredith is one of the strongest linemen on the team. Something about how hard he hits the weights and he's a beast athletically.
I'd say odds are pretty good that this fifth round pick (once predicted to go in the second round) surpasses Bell who, let's face it, wasn't very good last year.
Or how about Wang? He's more of a long shot, but if you think he is not going to get a chance to start you're crazy. Nix drafted him. He didn't draft Bell. Everyone has a clean slate with a new front office, but at the same time you are going to give the guys you brought in an equal chance.
So, I'd say the odds are pretty good that Meredith or Wang start at left tackle this year. More likely, Meredith.
Is that more comforting than Bell? Or are we still ****ed?
