Flutie or bust...oh, wait. I'm having Y2K flashbacks again.

I think practice starts at 3 but David Nelson said it was announced this morning in the meetings.

It would surprise me if it isn't Trent to start off training camp.

I think it's gonna be Trent and Trent week #1.

If Trent is first in the "pecking order"... it'll mean he gets most of the snaps, especially with 1st team. I can't see the other 2 mediocre guys being able to jump him getting less snaps. Trent would have to fall over himself.

Brohm gets cut before the season.
              Draft Gabbert at #3!

How long until Brohm would be re-signed? With Trent's injury history, chances are we'll be looking for someone with experience in the system a few weeks into the season.

                  Fitzpatrick remains vet backup.

So we should just basically name Fitz the starter now? Can't have a piece of glass taking snaps.

Sorry to burst your bubble... but Brohm is garbage... there's a reason why he sat on the Packers practice squad until a desperate Buffalo Bills team signed him.

If that's all you have to grade someone, then your sauce is weak. Plenty of good, even great players have been cut / PS'd at one point in their career. Jack Kemp was cut. I also asked a question about Fitz, and you run back into the anti-Brohm campaign for reasons unknown.

2nd round draft pick gets beat by a 7th rounder and gets cut and then placed on practice squad until a desperate team grabs him as an extra body.

Yup... that's all the sauce i need.
