Trent hasn't done anything for us lately, but at one point he looked pretty good. Let's hope the new coaching staff can bring back his good side. Some Qbs do take 5 years or so to develop (example Drew brees).Last edited by Jaybird; 07-29-2010, 02:12 PM.Comment

I'm curious to see what Trent looks like with a competent coach. He's shown flashes in the past.
It's not his fault he was drafted into a dysfunctional Dick Jauron led franchise.... who fired his OC and cut his LT 1 week before last season.

You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
It was all true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

I'm seeing some objective, positive remarks about Trent being named starter. I'm glad to see it. I remain a TE fan and believe he has all the tools to be successful under a competent offensive system.Comment

This is all Chan's show.... He has ot live and die by his decisions.
However this is the 1st real head coach we've had since Wade Phillip, and he has a mind for the O. So I'm looking foreward to seeing what Chan can get out of all of our players... but my focus will be on the O in regards to Chan

- All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done.
