It is time to finalize the plans for the opener weekend, specifically Saturday.
Here is what we have so far and what I am proposing:
1. 5k - This is in Lancaster. Starts at 10 AM See this thread: http://www.billszone.com/fanzone/sho...d.php?t=192526.
2. Lunch. Traditionally this has been at Duff's in Orchard Park. A suggestion was made to go to Anchor Bar. So I will ask those that are attending - Duff's or Anchor Bar?
One thing that has to be a little different this year. Because of the 5K, we should do this a little later. Those of us in the 5K need time to shower and change, unless the rest of you want to smell us during lunch.
How does 1 or 1:30 sound to people?
3. Night time party - We can do Brunner's again this year. Because the turnout is likely to be small, I am not sure it is worth the time or energy to get Pizza and wings, although I am willing to do so. If somebody wants to suggest another location, feel free to do so.
Finally - for those that are attending any of these festivities - please sign in here so we know who is coming to which events.
The Sunday tailgate will need to be handled by somebody else, as I am not sure I will be there.
