All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

Does anyone know what the cap hit would be if the Bills cut Maybin?
What happens in 5 weeks if the Bills are making their final cuts and they realize that Maybin isn't as good at OLB as someone like Batten and realize that he's just a waste of a roster spot?
If they think he's not better than 3rd string what would be the cap hit to cut him?

Why would you want him to be cut? Because he pushed down Fred Jackson?
I'm just saying... what if the coaching staff after training camp decides they have better players.
What would the cap hit be to cut someone like him?
It's just a question... i'm not saying cut him now.
A simple i don't know would suffice.
I'm just asking... can the Bills cut a player like that or are they stuck because of the contract ?
What team cuts a first rounder, especially a high one, after one freaking year? Maybin will not be cut.
It's just a question...and only about the 14th thread around here with a primary purpose of trashing Maybin. People need to find something else to do, after all there are about 75+ other guys to talk about as well.

75 other guys didn't get *****-slapped in practice

maybin wasn't exactly a nix pick if i recall the stories. so there isn't any personal shame or loss for the coaches or nix if they can him.
it'll be another thing if they have to walk from a spiller...they'll give him more time because itw as their decision and as much a failure of themselves as it is the player.
My thought is that maybin will be more effective as aLB and we'll learn to like this guy as a productive outside linebacker this year. if not, then we'll toss him as some of the worst that dick jauron had to offer.

I suppose a team that can't find a spot for him on the roster because they have other players that are better....
The purpose of the thread wasn't to bash Maybin... the purpose to was to find out what would be the penalty for cutting a guy with a contract like that.
What would be the penalty for cutting Lynch right now?
I'm not saying Lynch should be cut... but would it cost the Bills....
