Okay, I've been trying to upload these for 2 days now, since I can't seem to do it and haven't gotten much help from anyone on the site, I decided to upload my videos to another site and then link from there. I'm not sure if this will require you to have an account on Photobucket or not to view, but atleast I give you the opportunity...word of warning though, getting them downloaded is slow...

Here are some samples of what I took...I'll start with Joique Bell to make Draftboy's night:

Joique Bell run on 7-30-10

With all the confusion on Maybin...some people say he's not doing well, others say he's always in the backfield...let me help dispel the confusion. When doing drills or one on one work, Maybin is terrible and is often owned by the lineman. However, in 7 on 7s and 11 on 11s, he does ALOT better:

Maybin does have a incredible first step. As long as he stays low enough that he can deflect the hands of the LT, he should be effective. As soon as he comes face to face with a LT where the LT has position, he is done.

I agree...but he is going up against Bell. Not sure if the great film is about how good Maybin is or how bad Bell is.

The thing I noticed is how Coleman more than once, and Maybin blew by the lineman like they werent even there.

Actually, Bell is still out of commission and being handled gingerly. The videos are Maybin against Jamon Meredith and in once case, Ed Wang. So while Maybin looked good, getting by them easily, it was against backups. Still, if he didn't get by easily against a backup, that would be a huge concern!!! I thought they might move him around a bit and have him switch w/Chris Ellis from time to time, but so far, they haven't...

That works for him, but Antonio Coleman? I was worried about it coming into the season, and none of these videos is making me feel better.

why does Maybin have his hand down so much?

Coleman faced off against Nick Hennesey and Ed Wang at Left Tackle. The obvious answer is that neither of those two linemen are ready for prime time. However, it may also say Coleman was a good pick up!

That's all I had for now...I'll try and go again this coming week. The problem is I have a 4 yr old attachment to me that constantly repeats, "Can we go now?" after about an hours time. For that age, this is extremely boring for them...and makes it difficult for me to stay long and get all the videos and notes I want. And unfortunately, my usual babysitter is leaving town for 3 weeks... :(

the last time i saw first step explosion like that from maybin was probably from bruce smith or dwight freeney/derrick thomas!

Love the way Bell hits a hole, runs hard and look at the low pad level he carries and the way he is cradling the ball securely.

Coleman is a good player.

I'm wondering why Maybin has his hand in the dirt and why so many fronts with 4 down linemen? Maybe just something they were working on that practice.

I was going to ask the same question as Wagon Circler. It looks like they're using 4 down linemen a lot. Though we shouldn't be surprised - they said a long time ago that they'll be mixing it up and not just playing a straight 3-4 alignment.

Thanks for the videos, mystic, they are much better quality than most "homemade" videos are.

Joique Bell does look impressive. I wouldn't be surprised at all if he made the roster. Ditto for Coleman.
