I find it hilarious that when nothing is going on there are countless post with people who have sources saying this and saying that.

However, the one time I actually want to get some darn news from potential sources no one has anything......

To clarify I would like some info on the Spiller contract. The media has come out and said that his agent does not have a history of long holdouts, but this is getting ridiculous.

I blamed Maybin partially on Crabtree but with 8 and 10 signed this should be easy.

both of those mean incentives are going to be damn near impossible to reach, he wants close to (if not the same or above) the same amount of guaranteed money that McClain got at 8. Buddy isn't blinking, just relax this is going to take a little while yet.

It just sucks not having your pick in on time and also holding out this long. It sucks because I know it is going to hurt Spiller as bad as it hurt Maybin, Harvey, Russell etc...

To bad because you can never get this rookie training camp back, and I bet if you cornered Maybin he would say his holdout for a few extra bucks was stupid in the long run.

Are sources better than knowledge of the game, and intuition? Just wondering. I have to agree with the OP here. A lot of people who claim to have sources really don't have sources at all but just pass along what they read in another blog or message board. lol There are a few though that do have legitimate sources. I guess it's just a matter of weeding them out from the rest of the group. But, even the best of sources can still be wrong, or simply guessing. It's all prevalent on the he said, she said. JMO

Yeah but Spiller is a multi-diimensional threat. He's a gifted receiver AND return man. The incentives can be based on all of those things (plus running).

My source says a RB/KR missing a week of camp is no big deal, and the contract will be done this weekend. He/she also says the hold-up is from the Spiller camp, trying to wring as much out of Bills management that they can before signing.

Yes some bonuses can be reached that way but most of the bigger bonuses will be designed around his main position and the production from it.

My source now says the Bills will start one of the QB's already on the roster by week 1
