Some New ones I Find Interesting:

* Overtime: three minutes of 4-on-4; three minutes of 3-on-3; three minutes of 2-on- 2 followed by shootout (5 players per team).

* Verification goal line (additional line situated behind the goal line);

* Line changes zone in front of each bench;

The OT rule is stupid- I hope they don't add that.

I also don't like the "no line change for offsides" rule. The reason there is no line change allowed on an icing is because a tired defending team can ice the puck as an easy way to get a change. I can't think of a single example of a team intentionally committing offsides to get a change. If anything, it will make teams more paranoid about offsides and slow down the game.

the ot format proposal blows. the rules i come up at my street hockey games to keep aging 30+ year olds interested should not be implemented in the NHL. FACT.

Yeah, i just found that OT rule interesting.

the Line change zone and the verification line can help. we need to just use electronic detection for pucks crossing the line, if it crosses 100% it would trigger the light.

good idea, but they'll balk at the cost, just like they did with those damn "fox trax" pucks in the mid- 90's.

Overtime should be ten minutes. No points for otl's!

The Fox Trax was a poorly executed idea, now that we have HD its easier to see the puck at 60 Frames/sec.
