Buffalo Sabres 2010 Calender

Here is my first attempt at Photoshopping a Buffalo Sabres calender. I always loved these as a kid. I hope the times and dates are correct...what do you think? I didn't want to make it too busy. I'll be working on one for every month...I'll take suggestion also.

it looks good. I would put a solid border around the whole thing in black as the transition from the white on the printer will be better. I don't think you want the white to look like a border.

I'd say take out the photo unless it's the main focal point in the background.

And/or darken the background to better contrast the "gold" squares.

I don't wanna show you up or be "that guy" but I'll give it a try too, or maybe we could collaborate and alternate months or something.

I darken the background and put a border on it. Zooming in is your friend especially when you are dealing with lines. I'm going to keep making these because it's the only way I'll learn. If you make them for me, I'll never learn. Thanks for the advice.

Came out pretty well. Would probably be even better quality if I didn't print it off a 5 y/o laser color printer.

Background color could be a little lighter but overall it came out well. The numbers and details would pop out more with a lighter background color.

I like the Sabres/Bills one better since they're my 2 teams I live for so I like to find a way to always represent both at once as much as I can.

As Far as the Bills dates, I'd use Red and another color that isn't blue to easier pick them apart from the blue/yellow sabres squares.

Or as I've seen with past online calendars/schedules, maybe keep the squares themselves blank, and make the logo one color for home/away and make the logos black and white for the opposite.

But since it's 2 teams, maybe

Bills = Red logo home, Blue logo away

Sabres = Yellow Home, Silver away.

Or whichever combo you'd like to play with.

my only suggestion would be to make the Bills and Sabres logos in the corner larger, and the opponent logos smaller.

Seeing the Senators, Bruins, Fish and Pats logos that large makes me want to print that out and wipe my ass with it.
