Moats does look really bad tonight. I haven't been impressed with any defensive rookies yet.

But give the guy a chance he is a rookie...

Moats is making a massive position change, I'd expect him to look lost.

Moats is a sixth round rookie making a big time position change and people are jumping his balls after one preseason game in which EVERYONE looked bad. Nice...

BUST! BUST! BUST!

He looked like a rookie out there. It was like he might have been overwhelmed to be in an NFL game!! That is not the kind of veteran leadership that we expected out of him tonight...and his number, I actually could get over that but his shoes! Did you see his shoes!!! Completely out of season. Those were Autumn cleats and he had them on in summer!!!

You know what I think we learned that Nix is just more of the same. So, hold on Moats, take Buddy and Chan with you!!!

I am getting sick of the changing position or rookie accuse. These guys have been playing football their whole life, its all they know. The NFL might be a bit more complex but come on, its football. I don't know if anyone here played HS or College ball, but when I played D, I knew the responsibilities for every position for the call. I bounced from SS to CB to LB every other game, sometimes within the game. These guys do this for a living, they should know this stuff even before they are fully installed.

For Moats, He is just too slow to play in space. He is a run stopper or a 4-3 end, small one at that. If he was fast, like the scouts reported, he would of done better, he can not run sideline to sideline.

A former defensive lineman transitioning to ILB? Yeah, there's no learning curve.

Give him some time.

It shows that we dont have a great deal of depth at linebacker, that is for sure.

Agree but I would not put too much stock in that.

Give him a break and some time.

If you see that in last preseason game you might want to post this again.
