Bills sign RB Anderson and WR Rhea

Facing a void at the running back and wide receiver positions, the Bills brought in backup relief. Halfback Andre Anderson and wideout Aaron Rhea were inked by the team on Sunday.

Anderson's agent made the announcement on Twitter that his client had been signed by Buffalo. The former Tulane standout is an undrafted free agent who was recently released from Oakland.

Rhea, also a UDFA, played with Stephen F. Austin and was twice named All-Southland Conference honorable mention. He was signed by the Vikings in April but was just released.

As lousy as the Bills are, last week we could say "At least we're deep at RB."

      Not anymore.

Anderson is a bigger back(5'11, 208) who played closer to 212-215 but he's not a power/short yardage style back. He hits the hole hard and is a down hill runner. He goes north and south and doesn't show a ton of wiggle in his hips. Runs with a higher pad level and has had a shoulder injury in the past.

Yep. I would easily bet money he'll be injured before the season starts.
