LAKE FOREST, Ill. - Mike Brown has lined up behind middle linebacker Brian Urlacher since the Bears selected the two all-Pro defenders in the first two rounds of the 2000 draft.
Fittingly, it appears that the hard-hitting safety is occupying a similar position at the pay window.
One week after Urlacher agreed to a nine-year contract through the 2011 season, Brown said Wednesday that he's "pretty close" to signing a long-term extension with the Bears....
