"Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet.
You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
It was all true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

He's sitting 3rd string in BAL, and would likely be a 6-7th round consideration. He's also actually contributed on the football field.

by trading for Smith the Bills would be settling for mediocrity...we are giving Trent his last hurrah and he most likely will fail...giving the Bills a high pick and their choice of a variety of top level QB talentComment

This goes back to the anyone but Trent thoughts....I would love for the Bills to trade for Troy Smith, Tyler Thigpen or some other QB that can come here to compete and knock Trent Edwards off the team.

Troy Smith hasn't proven anything in the NFL ...people need to give it up just cause he was a good college QB. Suck this year and get either Luck or Mallett and start the rebuilding processComment

it won't matter who we have at QB if our Oline can't give him more than a 1/2 a second...
