Jauron never would have let this happen. Let's tone down practice and just do walk thru's. :D

Hope this guy doesn't turn out to be All-Whirlpool. Get well soon.

Great timing for a surgery, right after vacation is over.. what a schmuck.

Well it's official Byrd has a broken vagina.

Hopefully this guy can actually be 100% for 75% of a season someday.

He might be scary good if he can.

So what, George Wilson and Donte Whitner at safety? Sure it's a downgrade, but how much of one if he "might" miss the opener?

After reading the report on Byrd, Whitner collapsed and broke his arm. Out indefinitely.

No. Because.... (in no particular order)

- we have the worst stable of QB's in the league
- we have the worst O-line in football
- we have legitimate WR, and the rest are unproven guys, and garbage
- we are installing a brand new defensive system, w/ personel that probably doesn't fit the 34 defense.
- we still don't have a pass rusher, and/or a run stuffing NT
- we have mediocre (at best) LB's, who have a history of injuries
- and, we have the worst luck for the past 15 years, and this injury, to a guy that shows so much promise, is just more proof that this team is snake-bitten.

Bummer. Hope he heals fully at some point.

I'm OK with Wilson and Whitner at safety for awhile.

This is his 3rd one.

George Wilson will fill in admirably. I'm not really worried about it at all. Wilson has become a very reliable FS and can fill the void till Jairus is back

All these injuries seem to have started with the training camp move to Rochester.

I think they should move camp back to Fredonia.

Toughness and discipline. This is a tough game for tough people.

One of the problems with all of the injuries is that the team can't go into the season with that many people out. At some point they may have to put players on injured reserve even though they could recover fairly early in the season.

Apparently some people don't know the difference between a player that is injured and a player that is soft or weak.

i don't think you want to stretch your groin area too much when you're fighting for a job. It zaps your energy and weakens your knee

So, the player, the coach, the training facility, and the strength and conditioning team are blamed...whoops I almost forgot the curse theory. They are all blamed because there was a complication with an injury, which Byrd played with for a while, only to shut it down for the last couple games.

I guess, if you need to blame somebody, you could blame the doctor that performed the surgery, or you could chalk it up as "this sucks, but **** happens" and hope that a guy I. His mid twenties can heal quickly and be back before we know it.

Jairus Byrd out indefinitely according to BuffaloBills.com writer Chris Brown. Is he going on IR? anyone know?

I doubt he will go on IR - he would be out for the season

Who the hell is doing the surgery on these guys? What the f**k?

Depending on how the surgery goes.....This is a horrible sign for Byrd's future, I feel bad for him and us. It is highly unlikely his groin will ever be the same after yet another surgery.

Apparently some people don't know the difference between a player that is injured and a player that is soft or weak. Judging by how many supposedly injured people there are on this team compared to the rest of the league, I'd suspect those people are employed at One Bills Drive.
