Dungy should have just said that he doesn't approve of Ryan's cussing, he never did it, but every coach has a different style. that's it and just leave it at that.


i notice different coaching styles in Little League football. some of the coaches i work with yell and raise their voices. i'm the opposite. i show players what they did wrong and what they're supposed to do in a normal tone. to me, i feel that i can get into their minds better without scaring them. i know they're only 8-10 years old and they're going to make mistakes. the last thing a lot of these kids need is people barking at them. it's bad enough that they're parents do it too often.

Isn't Tony Dungy a commentator? As in he can comment on what he wants? I don't see any of this happening when analysts trash other coaching issues/decisions. Rex swears, Tony commented on it...that's it. It shouldn't be an issue.

I think there's a decency line that Rex crossed, I dont have a problem with cursing but using **** as a subsititute for every other word isnt cute or funny, its just obnoxious and shows a lack of intelligence.(2 qualities appropriate for that piece of **** franchise)

Ryan is doing the job the way he knows how to do it. Obviously his players don't hate it because the Jets seem to be loving life and they have no issues attracting new free agents.

Dungy needs to mind his business. If he doesn't like swearing, great, but don't tell other people how to run their life. Maybe he should focus on his own a little more.
