    Likes and Dislikes from game tonight.

    Dislikes

    Lankster     - Holy crap...what the hell happened to him tonight...awful, just awful.

    ST     - Yikes...where is Bobby April when you need him?!?!

    Safety play - It's obvious they miss Byrd...I hope he comes back quickly.

    Run Defense- Uggh...Williams is getting pushed around in the middle and it's creating huge holes to run through. They need to get this straightened out and ASAP.


    Likes

    Edwards - Looked better, still doesn't seem to have a pocket presence. I did like him better this game and liked the emotion he showed after the long TD, which he threw beautifully.

    Brohm - He looked decisive and took shots when WR's were covered...what a difference from Edwards who seems afraid to throw to any WR who isn't 10 yards open. Also, he seems to have the pocket presence that Trent doesn't...he can feel the pressure and slide to make a play.

    Bell - Damn Draftboy, this guy is the s**t...he has to make this team.

    C. Jackson     - I love this guy and believe he might be our answer at the #2 spot...he just goes after the ball...great instincts.

    Spiller - This guy is going to be GREAT! He will instantly make our offense better and is part of the reason that Edwards may look passable as a QB.

    OL - For all of their flaws, they definitely can run block...I'll give them that.

    Youboty - Nice game by this overlooked CB...I think he makes the team...I didn't believe this to be the case earlier in the preseason.

    I thought the run defense was inconsistent. It was good most of the time, but gave up some big runs at other times. Was Lankster really that bad? He obviously had the one set of two plays that he gave up to Taj Smith, but I thought he was decent otherwise.

      Agree on all the likes.
      They came back at Lankster again later in the game with the same WR and he beat him again on about a 10 yard slant. Lankster had a tough night...it happens.

            No shortage of plays made by every position on both sides of the ball - love our secondary - best in the NFL IMO (we made Drew Brees look human week 2 last season)... Tight pass coverage by pass D - nice to not see that 5=10 yard cushion for recievers. Run Blocking was solid.

            Bad - inconsistency in run defense, Pass protection, want to see Edwards more aggressive like Brohm is if he's gonna be the starter - get rid of the damn ball. What the hell happened to our special teams coverage on kickoffs and punts? Get rid of Leodis McKelvin on KO returns - put McGee or someone else back there.

              Another negative, we've got the ugliest cheerleaders in the league, and this is coming from a guy currently working on his 3rd tall can of Tecate.

                better QB play- it's about time.
                the RB situation- gotta love Spiller and Bell
                the OL- it doesn't look as dismal as last year

                DISLIKES

                the front 7 on defense- it's just frustrating to watch. can't stop the run and the LBs getting torched in passing situations. i can see myself drinking more beer because of it
                special teams- not one of their better games

                  -Edwards actually taking a shot downfield. Granted Evans was wide open, but he still went for it.
                  -Spiller's TD run. Specifically, the last move he made around the 10 yard line. I think Lynch would've put his shoulder down and tried to run through the guy.
                  -I also liked Brohm. As of now, I'd like him as the #2.
                  -C. Jackson and J. Bell both played well.
                  -Run D for the most part. A few lapses though.
                  -McGee's INT.

                  Dislikes:
                  -Special teams, minus Lindell and Moorman.
                  -Lankster. He's done.

                    Strong dislike... #18 WR Roosevelt needs to go - if you DVR'd the game, watch at about 1h 15m where chad jackson makes a catch, turns it upfield, and then fumbles - Roosevelt saw the ball was loose, and just casually walks around instead of trying to get in their and fighting for it. that is inexcusable

                      saw that play. it was odd. it looked like he was attempting to pick it up and run, but the second he felt contact coming, he was more interested in not getting killed. he looked like a kid getting hit by a big wave.
