I'm sure the team knew this was coming for awhile now. Teams usually know a few weeks ahead of time. It would explain his lack of reps and lack of talk about him. Unless he really just blows.

Its substance abuse and per NFL policy they do not realease when a player has a failed a test on the team and player know so Nelson could of failed one last year for all we know.

They moved the chains &/or we're 3rd down catches....The guy was in full blown beast mode..When i was all about it & impressed i came here & was surprised that the reaction wasn't what i thought.. same "I WAN'T A COLLEGE HYPE MACHINE TE, cough,cough Pat& co."

---You guys remember how Trent Edwards was Lee Evans worst nightmare because he rarely looked to #83, he instead was ALWAYS throwing to the flats. RB's,FB's and TE's...Trent just didn't/doesn't have the pocket patience for the plays to develop. Esp when the play is medium-deep....
-So w/ Trent starting it should be very exciting to watch Schouman rip it up!
