Wow. That's all that can be said about Joique Bell. Everyone that has seen him has been impressed, however with the Buffalo Bills being deep at the RB position already, his roster spot is definitely going to be an earned one if he were to snatch the 4th RB position. I think Joique would solidify our stable in which 2 RB's are already injured.

I think Bell makes the team, and continues to play hard forcing Fred Jackson out of the #3 spot.

seems like every camp report he gets talked up a lot

he's been dominating in the preseason.

i HOPE he doesn't get cut- and he shouldn't....but you never know with the bills.

His name should be on the final roster. The fact that Spiller and Jackson can split out wide mean you can live with one less WR and one more RB on the roster.

The guy has been consistent so far in PS, and the way he kept his feet after going through the air to get into the endzone against the Colts was impressive.

I'd be shocked if he doesn't make the team. He's a very good player and has deceptive speed, along with nice hands. He's been a beast in camp and pre-season. He'll make it easier for the Bills to part with Lynch or Jackson next year.

Reminds me of Jones-Drew. Runs hard.

Yes, he makes it.

He makes it, Simpson gets cut.

I think Bell makes it. I don't dislike Simpson tbh, and he looks like he has a decent burst, but Bell reminds me, in terms of attitude, of Fred Jackson. This kid will just do what it takes.
Like Jackson also, I think he will need just a little bit of time against true NFL starters to gain his feet, but I think once he knows what he needs to do, he will step up his game.
There are guys in all sports who don't immediately get the opportunity to test themselves at the highest levels, but once they do, and get accustomed to the elevated level of play, are able to continue their performance. Jackson was like that, and I believe Bell will be too.

He makes it. I would like to see him as the number 2 back in the next pre season game

How can he not make it?

How can he not make it?I agree that he's certainly earned it. However, that does mean that they will be keeping five backs.

He has to make the team and I would really hope they do not isolate him to the practice squad.

I highly doubt he would clear.

If it comes to that, I would rather see Simpson go.

If it comes to that, I would rather see Simpson go.It's five without Simpson:

Spiller
Jackson
Lynch
McIntyre (assuming they have to keep one FB)
Bell

I was considering it as 4 RBs and a FB, but I realize they have often kept 3 and 1 in the past. I just think with a run-oriented offense, and some pretty average WRs, we keep one more RB, and one fewer WR, than in the past.

Makes the team. How many guys have been as consistent as Bell? The guy has great balance and is very smooth in his running.

This is exactly why I think Bell makes the squad and we only carry 5 WR's.

You don't think he makes it?

All joking aside, I believe he should make it, and I think we'll have a great stable of running backs for years to come, with possibly Freddy being the odd man out down the road.

I didn't watch the first preseason game so I didn't see him play. But from what I've heard about him in TC and what I saw in the second game, it seems as though he hasn't hurt his case for making the team, while Simpson stumbled a little. I think he makes the team, rightfully so, he's playing like he has something to prove and that's never a bad thing.
