McNeil and Jackson

Per crawl on NFL Network, both have been placed on DNR list by the Chargers, and could be suspended for the first three games once they do report.

Seattle has been given permission to contact Jackson to attempt to negotiate a contract.

I doubt the following has happened, but it would be nice if Buffalo has inquired about McNeil.

On rotoworld.com, there was a passing mention of the Chargers wanting a 2nd-rounder for Jackson. The guy has very high contract demands, but a 2nd rounder would be a decent price, imo, for the guy. Although his suspension worries me.

I'd give a second rounder for McNeil.


In a heartbeat.

But Buddy Nix wouldn't. He likes his draft picks.


Although, this may be a different situation. Nix had a hand in grabbing McNeil.

Mcniel is worth a second round pick if he doesn't want a Jason Peters type contract.

Would be so great to get him, Then we can draft a center next year and have a super dominant oline.

I think Smith would rather let McNeil sit than give him up for a second-rounder.

I remember reading somewhere earlier in the offseason that Buddy Nix is enamored with Marcus McNeill. He was part of the crew that drafted him.
