All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Forked Thread: Bills D playing it close to the vest?
I have been re-watching the Bills preseason games and what I am noticing is that the Bills are not giving anything away about how they plan to pressure QBs. Almost every single pass rush situation they are coming out with 4 down linemen in a basic 4-3 look with our LBs being used as DEs. No one is ever standing up coming off the edge.
It seems to me they are hiding what exactly they plan to do with Ellis and Maybin. There is no way that their pass rush consists of 4 DL, all in 3 and 4 point stances. I think in the 2 games they have played they have sent more than 4 only once or twice.
That is encouraging because our pass rush hasn't looked that sharp and I'm hoping this is why.
Also gives me more hope that we haven't seen the best of Maybin.
I agree & I think Chan is also playing it close to the vest on Offense.

Honestly, it seemed like they opened the playbook up a decent amount in the game against Indy. But it could be that Jauron's offense was so boring and predictable that anything else seems like "opening it up."
I agree for the most part. I think the offense will be decent this year, but we'll see.
