From the Buffalo News:
Bills rookie strong safety Coy Wire has been putting in overtime with assistant coach Steve Jackson to get ready for his first NFL starting assignment.
Wire, who earned a degree in sociology from Stanford University, said he might watch "an hour or so" of film on his own during the week of a college game.
"Coach Jackson spent three hours with me on Saturday watching film on our day off," Wire said.
Jackson coaches the Bills' safeties and is third-down specialist for the defense.
"I'm just a fresh lump of clay that can be molded," Wire said.
Isn't that exactly what you want to hear before someone's first start? I have a feeling Wire is going to be very good. This Stanford kid has got the brain and the talent to succeed. I know its been said before but this is just another reason to get excited over our 3rd round pick.
