Preseason Comments:

8/29/2010- Havili is a gifted receiver but needs to become a better blocker. He has good size but needs to add muscle and bulk. Havili has above average speed as a FB. He is intriguing because of his receiving ability. Was suspended for fighting with a fellow team mate.

Comments:

9/2/2010- vs. Hawaii

1st Qtr:
11:56- Real lanky for the position. Runs up and drills a LB. Gets stood up on the block a bit but certainly slowed the motion.
10:40- Runs up and drills the CB who tried to go low. Sprung Tyler for a 1st down. He's a willing blocker, and he blocks with intensity but he needs better bulk.
3:10- Shows his intensity again as a blocker when he hits the LB, #41. However, he also shows his weakness by blocking a bit too upright allowing #41 to get off the block and make the tackle.

2nd Qtr:
1:39- Shows good quickness and wiggle on this run.

3rd Qtr:
12:19- Shows soft hands on this short pass in the flat.
1:12- Gets open in the flat on the R. Makes a nice catch and runs for a huge gain. He plays more like a slot receiver than a FB.
