Thomas Jones Traded to Tampa Bay

Running back Thomas Jones was traded Friday by Arizona to Tampa Bay, marking the departure of another of the Cardinals' numerous draft disappointments.

Gruden just keeps making his team better and better. Anyone think Jones will breakout in Tampa Bay after being a bust like Simone Rice did??? If Jones becomes a star back, Tampa Bay may be a dynasty.......

I thought Rice was pretty good in Arizona. Didn't he make a Pro Bowl or two there? His TEAM is much better in Tampa, but he's been a good DE throughout. Now, isn't Jones going to battle Pittman again, like he did in Arizona, or did the Bucs get rid of Pittman? If they're both on the roster, Jones may have something to worry about, as he was Pittman's backup for the Cards.

Thomas Jones is a bust. Great running backs have natural instincts. Thomas Jones does not have "it". He dances and doesn't hit the hole. He's not a powerful runner, etc. I would rather have Antowain Smith, which doesn't say much for my opinion on Jones.

I saw Jones weekly when he was in college. I never thought he would stand out in the NFL.
He's got a little bit of everything, but not enough of anything.

If Pittman gets released, maybe we should bring him in. We don't have enough RBs yet.
