I did too. He threw several good passes, including one that Jones should have had on 3rd down. I also liked that one throw where he led Jackson down the field. The best part was the fire he showed, when Steve Johnson and the receivers didn't follow their route on that one play, he looked pissed and snapped at them.

It's not a big deal...Lynch hasn't played for a while. I'm just glad it's not necessarily the fault of the guys blocking.

Chambers was beaten horribly around the edge and arm tackled the Detroit defender. Looked molasses slow on that play. Somehow i think he still makes it onto the Opening Day roster.

Maybe they don't want other teams to see that we are overloaded with quality RBs that likely all can't make the roster. Any trade talk gets cheaper if they realize it.

I'm really starting to think that there is something about Brohm that rubs Gailey the wrong way. I mentioned this in my camp notes too....for some reason, he just doesn't seem to be getting the chance to show what he can do. He got less reps than Fitzpatrick all camp and a ton less than Edwards. He only got to attempt one pass last week and none in week 1. Fitzpatrick got a lot of time both Game 1 and Game 3 and with some decent backups, not the 3rd string scrubs.

Another player who has impressed me is Maybin...the guy is getting pressure on the QB whenever he is out there. If utilized correctly, he could be an interesting player this year for the defense.

Your expectations of a rookie learning an entirely new position are way too high. It will take him time to learn angles, pursuit, coverage, etc.

I don't have a problem with rookie type mistakes in reading the plays, etc. I just feel like he's too slow (there's been numerous occasions that has been shown). I like his build - strong, muscular, stocky, decent tackler. But he's slow. Plain and simple.

it was so quick thats my problem with trent for being the gunslinger it seems like it comes out slow
