As many have mentioned, calling Chicago about Olsen would be wise.

The Bills could pick up 2 guys off waivers this weekend and they'd be better than any TE we have.

James Casey is someone to keep an eye on too... he's currently #3 on Houstons depth chart... real solid player IMO. He came out early so he's still learning but he'd be a hell of an addition.

Side Note he's a second year guy and 25 due to a minor league deal with the White Sox.

Funny, Derek Fine, now on that team, was having a good game last evening.

I'll never understand why we cut him so early.

Wasnt he cut during the peak of all of our injuries? I dont remember.

We released him February 16th, before the new coaching staff ever had a live look at him.

I would be shocked if the Bills don't make a move this weekend.

That's right but he missed all last season with an injury.

I'm pretty sure he failed a physical...same reason the Rams cut him very shortly after signing him.

As I remember, though, he wasn't waived/injured, or for failing a physical.

I think he did fail his physical. I though I read that somewhere.

Could be. My memory, like a lot of things, ain't what it used to be.

He is probably going to get cut by Arizona, so they can always bring him back.

How could he get cut by Arizona, when he's on Houston's team?

Sorry about that, I was thinking one thing and typing another.

The point is, he is an afterthought on that team they have Owen Daniels, Joel Dreessen, James Casey, Anthony Hill (PUP) and Garrett Graham besides him. Fine won't crack that rotation.

If Olsen is available for a 3rd, I'd do it. I would try for a 4th first, but I would do a 3rd with not even a second thought.

Another consideration is Fitzy to the Bears. I think I read that ol'Fitzy is a great fit at back up for him...they were together in St Louis, correct? Straight up...Fitz of Olsen.
