For all the bad picks I'm going to give the Bills a pass on this selection. The whole WR class sucked that year.

The problem is that the Bills should have taken the best available instead of a need pick. This is how you end up with crappy players.

The Maybin pick is 10X worse.

This is what has killed us the past few years...taking need over talent. This year they took the best player and will be rewarded for it.

I agree HH but Maybin is now in the position he should of been in long ago. Give him a chance I bet anything hes going to improve and be a very good player for us.

Never saw a high round pic do so little. I mean NOTHING.

Mike Williams

At least Mike Williams made the playing field though. Hardy could not even stay healthy enough to try out for the position. What would happen if he got hit in a game?

The only thing Hardy really had going for him was his size - but he never used it!

It's hard to peg him a bad pick because the blown knee is what ended his career.

Limas Sweed, Devin Thomas, Malcolm Kelly, James Hardy, Mario Manningham? Has there ever been a ****tier WR class? :ill: No wonder all the receivers fell out of the first round. DeSean Jackson was the only good one.

Yeah, it's the big receivers in that draft who really crapped out.

I never understood why people insisted Hardy would stick on the roster this year. No special teams value, pretty much no offensive value. I definitely understand not wanting to give up on a guy (as evidenced by my suggestions that people continue to wait to judge Maybin). However, Hardy hasn't shown any sign of improvement from when he was drafted, and has had plenty of guys around that could help him. Injuries were just the icing on the cake.
