    Biggest surprise, Cut or Keep

    Mine...

Keep - both Harris', as third-string safeties.

Cut - Bell/Simpson, and going with 3 HBs.

I'd add Jones over Jackson, but I guess it makes sense from an ST standpoint.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

While realising a lot is a 'numbers game', keeping the extra Harris safeties and Jones were surprising to me. Cutting both of Simpson and Bell also. Chad Jackson was another 'surprise' cut, as I thought he performed pretty well in the games I saw. TBH, I'd rather have Simpson as a KR than Jones, who this year, without the full benefit of an NFL conditioning programme, seems too fragile to take the punishment - both on KR, and as a WR.
To me, Jones = PS. I hope to be pleasantly surprised, but somehow doubt it.

It is very unusual for a team to keep 6 safeties. Most teams don't keep four running backs either, but Bell made a lot more noise in preseason than the Harris "brothers." Cary Harris played CB in college. Maybe the Bills think he has enough versatility to be a swing man if need be.
I've made up my mind. Don't confuse me with the facts.

I'm the most reasonable poster here. If you don't agree, I'll be forced to have a hissy fit.

Still believe 2-4 of these guys will be handing in their playbook within 48 hours.

Bills not done with this roster. Stand by.

                      Surprise keep: Arthur Moats

                      Surprise cut: I agree, Bell.

Keeping the Harris' tandem, (the McCorners, the Harris' family) seems smart until Byrd is 100%, then ditch one and promote someone/add a FA from the wire. Bell, although most see him hitting the PS... who is to say that with his great preseason a RB needy team doesn't swoop in on him?

I would throw in immediately that Derek Schouman was the biggest cut, but I'm still trying to find out the exact intricacies of the "waive/injured" tag rather than just PUP or cut.
                      Bye Bye Brady...

I'm surprised we have only 8 offensive linemen for 5 positions but 10 linebackers for 4 positions, 7 defensive linemen for 3 positions and 10 defensive backs for 4 positions (normally).

Of the players cut, I probably wanted to see Bell on the roster the most. Speaking of which, has anybody seen draftboy? He might have gone on a bender after seeing this news.

Actually someone here about a week ago said Bell would probably get cut, oh that was me.

But seriously before you guys flame away on me I didn't think they'd cut Simpson as well. So yes it was a big surprise.

                              Donald Jones? Really? Wow!!
