Flowery Branch -- Last season the Falcons scored 402 points, fifth-most in the NFL. After four days of passing camp, there's a sense they could be better.

For this optimism, thank the arrival of wide receiver Peerless Price, and another season of experience for players and coaches alike.

"The thing we feel most confident about . . . is we know our people better," offensive coordinator Pete Mangurian said. "We know what Michael [Vick] does best, and what Warrick [Dunn] does, and what T.J. [Duckett] does, and what Alge [Crumpler] does....
