This guy was released by Cinci because Gresham made him expendable. He's better than any TE we currently have on the roster. I hope they sign this guy.

2nd year, from Missouri. Won the Mackey award in 2008, 83 receptions, 900+ yards, 10 TDs. He was mostly split out in a spread formation.Originally posted by Turf

His father is Paul Coffman who played with Green Bay and Kansas City as a TE. Had a 10 year career starting in 1978 and is in the Packers Hall of Fame.

Sean Ryan got cut by Tenny. He's an ex Boston College TE from this area and not bad.
What's funny (actually sad )is that I did scan the cuts for TE's and thought they were all pretty much better than ours.

He was the 2nd of two CIN 3rd rounders last year. They certainly tried to work on his blocking, but the comments by the beat reporters last season indicated that he just wasn't up to it. His cut isn't a surprise.

LOL Big slow TE's with big college #'s are James Hardy in the NFL.
