With our front 7 on D struggling to stop the run and not bringing pressure (we'll see), I believe this team will be playing from behind more often than not.
That means Fred Jackson as a single back (and receiving outlet) with Spiller lining up as a 4th WR ( like he did many times at Clemson ). For those not familiar with his skill set, he has great hands in the receiving game. No TE in those formations.
I'm thinking single back, 4 WR sets will be more frequent than many thought and I believe Gailey is thinking the same thing. The Bills should still pick up a TE and maybe another WR but I see Jackson & Spiller being on the field together quite frequently, out of necessity to rally from behind.
Besides, we learned one thing this pre-seaon. Spiller only comes off the field to catch his breath or due to injury. He's too good.
