Emmitt Smith and a rejuvenated Arizona Cardinals team made an early stop in their new hometown Wednesday, holding a public practice at Glendale High School.
Nearly 1,400 fans, many sporting some type of Cardinals garb, poured into the high school's football stadium to catch a first glimpse of the NFL team that, beginning in 2006, will play its games in Glendale.
