Darrelle Revis is scheduled to be at the Jets training facility tomorrow to sign the deal. Numbers likely to be a team, but not NFL record.

Hopefully it takes longer to get into the swing of things than 4 weeks, but I somehow doubt it.

Not surprising.

Figured they'd reach an agreement before the opener.

Yup. he's unstoppable. No one can beat him. No training camp/no preseason, dude is straight championship. All other players in the NFL don't need training camp and they revert to their former selves.

Im not sure if you were agreeing or being sarcastic (or both) but in my humble opinion, Revis is the best player in the NFL regardless of position (Andre Johnson second in my book)

Let's see revis do it for years before we crown him the best. Who knows...if mckelvin had that kind of qb pressure it's possible he could be the same.

Good. I don't want the Jets to have any good excuses for failure this year. It'll make the implosion that much sweeter.

Man the guy had a great year last season but it takes more than that for the Hall of Fame. Now he will probably continue his dominance and I will join in the chant of greatest ever, but can we wait till he has like 3-4 years of this kind of play before we all bow down ?

I still think Ashmo is the best CB in football.

Oh Great...

Now the media can constantly remind us of the Jets greatness for a while...at least until they start losing and prove them wrong..

I don't think anybody is elevating Revis to the HOF just yet, but it's pretty obvious the guy was one of the best players in the league last season.

I don't see any ramp up for Revis. He will be ready to go from day 1.

People can couch it however they want, the guy is a great player and a key to what they do. I figured they would make another push to bring him in. Good for the Jets.

Revis is a great player, but he is human. We'll see if it takes him any time to get into playing shape.
