    30 Years Ago Today - 9/7/80 - Bills stop losing streak to Dolphins

    Fans at Rich Stadium stormed the field in celebration after the Bills snapped a 20-game losing streak against the Dolphins. Buffalo scored two fourth quarter touchdowns to defeat Miami for the first time since 1969.

    Rookie running back Joe Cribbs rushed for 60 yards and one TD and also had 9 catches for 71 yards. Fullback Roosevelt Leaks had the Bills’ other score, a four-yard TD reception from QB Joe Ferguson.

    The Dolphins defense had five interceptions.


    I was there, sitting in the front row of the scoreboard endzone...it was an incredible day.
