Colts settle back for 6-week break

Coaches, players rest for the 6-month grind, beginning with training camp July 27.
Coach Tony Dungy is going fishing. So is tight end Marcus Pollard, when he's not hacking away on a golf course or spending time with his wife and son.

Quarterback Peyton Manning's upcoming agenda includes his family's passing camp in Hammond, La.

Everyone who has devoted the past four weeks to the Indianapolis Colts' voluntary summer school will spend the next six weeks mixing relaxation with maintaining physical readiness for what's to come.

That would be, in Dungy's eyes, a six-month journey which begins July 27 with the start of training camp in Terre Haute and concludes Feb. 1 with an appearance in Super Bowl XXXVIII at Houston.
