      I will say this while Im not a big Ryan Mallett fan the two games Ive seen of him so far have shown some growth in going through his progressions and making reads on the fly. Now I want to see him against some SEC defenses though.

        Obviously there are things you can take away from games against crappy opponents, but I have a hard time taking guys like Johnson and Mallett seriously until they play someone decent.

                  Very big on him, but he's not really going to be a first round pick at this point. So I left him out of this discussion.

                        Im agreeing with Db and Ing... Locker hasnt shown the decision making and poise to be a 1st round QB.

                          I have to say...one guy I'm interested in is McElroy from Bama. Smart, accurate, and he's never lost a game going back to 8th grade!? I'm interested to hear what his positives/negatives are. Didn't really notice if he was too short...he seemed to be about 6'1", but that's a rough guess-timation from memory.

                            mcelroy = ken dorsey

                            actually dorsey was probably a better college QB

                              Here's Gabbert's line:

                              60-79, 75.9%, 501 yards, 3 TD's, 0 INT's (Illinois, McNeese St.)

                              They run the spread so the completion percentage is inflated with all the short throws, but he probably has the strongest arm Ive seen and usually makes very good decisions.
