Are the receivers always covered down the field or are they getting open and Trent does not see them or is Trent too scared to throw it into tight windows when the reciever s have a little separation?

Re: To those who were at the game...
Watching TV, Steve Tasker commented one time that Miami had only rushed 4 and Edwards would have had time to look downfield, but because Miami had blitzed earlier, then showed blitz before backing off, Trent read blitz and passed to his hot read almost immediately. I think until or unless Trent proves he can read better and react to what defenses are doing, then that is the tactic opposing defenses will take all season long. Gailey has to fix Edwards or yank him. There is no other choice, nor is there much time or we'll be writing off another season.I've made up my mind. Don't confuse me with the facts.
I'm the most reasonable poster here. If you don't agree, I'll be forced to have a hissy fit.

Re: To those who were at the game...
There were so many times where Lee Evans was one-on-one, Roscoe Parrish was wide open down the field and so was Steve Johnson and Trent didn't have the balls to throw the ball in the air. I don't just hate that he won't bomb it, I can't stand the fact that he won't even throw the intermediate passes...when's the last time a Bills QB was able to throw those? 20-30 yards in the middle of the field?

I'd settle for 10-20 yards

I didn't think that was possible in the modern era.

Originally posted by NovacaneThe problem is Trent does not think they are open unless they have 5 yards separation.
And I didn't understand why didn't use Lynch as a bruiser in the 1st half to tire Miami's defenders, then use FJ elusiveness in the 3rd qtr, and follow that up with speedy Spiller on a (hopefully) tired defense in the 4th. The game plan sucked and that's on Gailey!!! In his interview, he even admitted that he didn't have them prepared well on the run game. Miami came with a solid game plan and took the run game completely out!!!
