    Nothing like Jauron

I almost never post on these forums but this is ridiculous. Gailey was nothing like Jauron today.

Numerous third and longs today (including a 2/3rd and 30):

    Jauron - run the draw
Gailey - Throw and try for a first down (all the more gutsy knowing that trent was not getting more than 3 seconds in the pocket)

A dozen seconds left in the 1st half:
    Jauron - take a knee
Gailey - Throw downfield, ultimately leading to a field goal opportunity

    4th and 11:
    Jauron - take the FG
    Gailey

even the strategy to take a safety at the the one was pretty gutsy (not that i agree with it)

im not saying he did a good job today, but there is no comparison to jauron

My friend said "Kick the field goal" on that 4th down.

We scored the TD and he tried to high five me but I denied him for his lack of faith in Chan.

      But yea, we still blow.

i agree, the bills suck. it's going to be a long year. hopefully, they can start gelling. even if it's only slightly. today scared me away from going to any more home games. i can't put up with this **** in person for another year. the next home game will be the first time in seven years that i won't be at the ralph and i don't feel bad about it.

Watch us come out and beat Green Bay. Then all the fans come rushing back.

I doubt we beat the Pack, in fact I am almost positive we won't but it would be a sight to see.

                that wasn't a gutsy call.

the wind was the deciding factor. in case you didn't notice but the wind was swinging the distance on all kicks by about 10-15 yards... in the 4th quarter we were going into the wind. in short... that was a 50 yard field goal which needed an extra 10-15 yards to make thanks to the wind. so unless you think your kicker can hit a 65 yarder you go for it on that down.

Gailey? Edwards would make Vince Lombardi look bad.

Your analysis is correct, Gailey coached much differently than Jauron would have (much better actually). The problem is that his offensive play calling/ game plan was not very good which combined with the fact that the end result was the same as what Jauron would have attained for us (an embarrasing defeat), leads to the inevitable comparison.

                      Seems pretty similar to me.

I agree, Chan is no Jauron. But, it doesn't really matter. This team is going to have a long year. They just don't have the talent to compete with the better teams. It's that simple.

Edwards didn't make Gailey look good but our OL makes both of them look worse than they were.

Watching the Phila game Peters showed me that he's certainly not worth the money but he's still a better OT than anything we've got. My friend said that although he's not deserving of Pro Bowl that he's better than anything we've got on our line. Not sure I agree but it's close.

The OL better start jelling or else we're going to have the same major holes to fill for next year.

We've had the same hole to fill for the past decade +....QB.

Drew Bledsoe offered a one year reprieve.
