C.J. Spiller, RB, Bills - 7 carries for 6 yards; 4 catches for 8 yards
It’s not Spiller’s fault that some fantasy owners put their faith in the Buffalo rookie. Regardless, everything about his performance Sunday has to be scaring the living daylights out of anyone who drafted him. Spiller, named the No. 1 back prior to the game, split carries with both Fred Jackson (4 for 19 yards) and Marshawn Lynch (3 for 13), after Jackson was supposed to be limited and Lynch also had been hobbled in the preseason. Of course, it’s only one week, and Spiller is still an explosive player. This is just more reason not to use a high draft pick on a rookie who plays on an anemic offense.
