Just watched him single handedly dominate the Jets. Might be one of the best players in the league.

Russ Brandon and Ralph should be shot.

He had nothing to do with the pick. It was Marv

Don't forget we could have had Michael Oher too.

It's all part of the reason this team has done nothing for 10 years folks. We have drafted poorly during that time period and those "looking on the bright side that "this year that we will earn a high draft pick" are delusional to think the front office will all of a sudden start drafting properly this year.

Don't forget we could have had Michael Oher too.

Next week you'll get a real good look at another player we could have drafted as he tears us apart: Aaron Rogers.

This a pointless excercise; there are literally dozens of probowl players that we have let slip by due to negligent drafting. At this point its like beating a dead horse.

Enough with the "What if" threads.

We all realized Whitner was a bust.

By the way, anyone notice the line looked like crap yesterday? More groundbreaking news.

Who needs Ngata when you got McCargo!

And Mangold.
Yeah and Tom Brady and Marques Colston and Tony Romo and TJ Housmanzdeh and Antonio Gates. Grow up, so could every other team in the NFL.

Still our picks were bad, but don't give me the shoulda coulda woulda drafted this guy, that guy.

A lot of people on this board wanted Ngata ahead of Whitner.

I remember even posting the good things about the pick of Whitner because I've loyally watched Ohio State since I was a kid. Unfortunately his college skill set never transfered to this level and even then I thought he was the wrong pick.

It was a panic move by Levy and the brass who wanted Michael Huff, said it that day, still think it now.

Then the trade up, everyone I know thought the trade up was for Mangold. When they announced McCargo, it was a collective WTF? Just as big of a WTF as Maybin over Orakpo last year.

The fans aren't always wrong just because their fans and the front office isn't always right just because they're getting paid to do it.

Who would want Ngata and Orakpo on the same team. Maybin and Whitner are much better.

Plus we have Poz over Beason!!

I am glad somebody FINALLY points out what we COULD have done on draft day.

It's like this organization gets a free pass, and nobody here EVER brings this up. If the world were right we would have at least 4 threads about this on the first page, and we would have to restart the ENTIRE discussion over every time somebody we shoulda/coulda/woulda had makes a tackle.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU.

I think it will be awesome how all the fans will now be able to say I TOLD YOU SO for YEARS to come. This will be great. I can't wait to talk about EVERY draft for years to come. We'll relive it OVER AND OVER AND OVER.

...AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER.

After several years of this...well...after several years of this...I guess it will still be the same, but we'll continue to show how right we were. AWESOME.

Good God, can't we get over these things and move on? What good does it do to hash this stuff over ad infinitum, ad nauseum?

Does it do any good? No. But as long as those players are helping other teams win and we're still losing, it's still relevant. It sucks, but it's the reality.

Are you sure it was MArv and not Dick?

MArv was a bobblehead for the most part.

Well those decision makers are gone. As buddy said blame him for everything post Jan 2010, and he is not taking responsibility for things before that.

Ok. I will blame him for Cornell Green, counting on an injured Bell who should really be a right tackle, and the qb position.

And Mangold.

3 words. Bryant F'King McKinnie

(who only a class "A" f'up organization would have passed up when they were in desperate need for an OT...especially for the black Michelin Man......a RIGHT f'king tackle at pick 4????)

You're right of course. But let's do it some more.:; It's one thing to swing and miss on occassion. But the reason this team is beyond hope is that's all we do. How would out team look if we had picked these available players instead in the last 4 years?
