View Full Version : Predict Our First Win of 2010 Season

I've been struggling with this as since the game ended Sunday. We couldnt beat the worst team in our division (besides us of course) at home so it conceivable we'll go 0-6 in the division. I guess we can look at the Jags in Jacksonville, Lions at home or Browns at home, but all three could EASILY be losses. We are staring 0-16 in the face the way things are as of right now.

Now I dont believe we will go winless. The NFL is very unpredictable, this could be the year the BIlls beat the Patriots for all we know, but I'm having a tough time calling our first win with any confidence...

As much as the Jets D scares me, I really think we will be in that game every snap. Our D can certainly hang with that offense and it will come down to a big play in clutch time. Color me an optimist but I say we take that game.

If it's not Green Bay, it's going to be a while. Maybe Jacksonville?

I think we'll play better on the road because of the home field pressure our Offense will endure until the Offense proves it can play professional football.

but, I really don't have much hope for us beating Greenbay. Jacksonville seems like the likely candidate though...

I really don't think we'll put up the goose egg this year, but at this point it's hard to pick a team that we can beat.

I picked the Jags and KC as the only games we win this year.



KC held off SD, and have a decent defense and playmakers on O and ST, plus we play them in Arrowhead- unlikely we win.

what would make you think this team could score 27? I wouldn't be surprised if we went the whole season without scoring that many in a single game.

I think this team is worse than I thought. KC beat the Chargers, the Jags won, and the Bears look decent.

I'm really down on this team. Really, really, down.


I probably won't watch the Grenn Bay game because it's going to be 48-0.

First win?

Week 17 vs the Jets.

The Jets will have their playoff spot sewn up and sit their players.

We'll win 6-3 in an epic colossal performance.

jets aren't going to the playoffs. the local media will skewer them by columbusday. They will not be in full crisis mode before the leaves fall off the tree.

When you have a top 3 defense, you're gonna win football games and likely make the playoffs. Even if your QB is absolutely atrocious.

If there is a lockout in 2011?? Some time in 2012. Seriously though...Jax and if not Jax then Cleveland.

I'm serious...this is not a good team. this might hurt more than 84/85. We might be looking 71/76/77 right in the face.

My official prediction for the season was 5 wins. I'm starting to think that was way too optimistic.

go long twice on cromartie's side. he will get called twice for penalties. then 3 and out, then kick the 26 yrd field goal.

That may work if Edwards is hurt or benched by then. Otherwise he'll have to "go long" about 10 times and get ten penalties before we're in FG range.
