Of course Ellis was just as disappointed as the rest of his teammates that they didn’t come out with the victory in Week 1, but in his first outing the newly converted outside linebacker produced with five tackles, a sack and a pair of quarterback hits. Still, Ellis wasn’t sounding satisfied.

Ellis was held on his sack too. no call. surprise surprise. Those refs sucked it.

I'm not saying he's the second coming but I've always liked him and never understood how he never made the field.

Dick Jauron loved drafting players not fit for the postion he wants them in.

I'm with you. He is big and physical. As far as why he didn't see the field...why would you put your draft picks out there when we had Kelsay/Denney putting fear in the hearts of QB's around the league?

He was held on that sack, and it didn't make a bit of difference. That was the Ellis you see in his college highlight video.

He should never leave the starting lineup.

He was held a few times, never flagged the OT of course.

that's not exactly a ringing endorsement considering the alternatives.
