We'll beat them

only if someone changed the meaning of "beat" to "lose by 30 points"

Why can't you just keep hope alive. This is the NFL. Anything can happen. Even injuries. Odds are we'll lose but you never know

I'm not talking about hope.

I'm talking about making a realistic prediction. I watched the entire Bills game and portions of the Packers game last week. A Packers win is not guaranteed, but only because nothing is guaranteed in sports. Our chances of winning are about as close to zero as they can be without actually being zero. That's the reality of the situation. It sucks, but it is what it is and no amount of hope or optimism or Christmas cheer is going to change it.

There is no hope for this game.

Green Bay is a Super Bowl contending team and the Bills are awful. Factor in this being the Packers home opener and you clearly see this is going to be a blowout for Green Bay.

That Super bowl contender almost lost to an Eagle team that will likely finish last in NFC East this year.

Yeah, almost lost. They didn't. And if you've watched Packers games, you'd know they weren't on their game. But hey, let's pretend the Bills are really good and they can win on Sunday.

if I remember correctly, we got robbed on a pick 6 because a ref blew a whistle too early.

Yeah Clemens had a pick 6 at the end that was called back. It was a total bogus call.

I forget, who was the receiver? For some reason I keep thinking it's Andre Rison. :idunno:

I'm pretty sure that was Terry Glenn getting absolutely killed by Antoine Winfield.

I think this is the game where Brian Moorman boomed a 90 yard punt as well...

One thing I have learned is that no game is ever a sure thing. We can beat the Packers. I don't feel real good about it happening but every time I have thought something was a guaranteed loss they surprises me. So I retain hope until I see what team shows up on game day.
