Ok so let's assume Trent comes out Sunday and delivers 15-38, 0TD, 2INT, 126 yds. What would you want to see in week 3?

Brohm.

1st choice would be a gun to put myself out oof misery.. but I would accept Brohm as a solid 2nd choice

If Trent plays Sunday as he did against Miami, I see no point in keeping him on the team. Brohm.

It just doesn't matter. We're ****ed for this year, period.

I say stay with Trent and let him dig his own grave. I don't want any more of this "the FO benched him too early, he didn't have a chance" excuse. By the time this season's over, I don't want there to be any doubt left that Trent isn't the guy.

Let's assume he throws for 300+ yards and 4TD's.

Let's pretend a magic leprechaun jumps out of Gaileys pants and turns Fitzy into Tom Brady...

He is already the starter. That would be pointless.

The point of the thread is clear, if Trent continues this way, what do most people want to see next....?

Bring in the Fitz, we can still win games. He's proven he can win games. I don't want to see Brohm unless we're out of the playoff hunt.

Yeah you and DB are spot on... let's keep a guy in at QB that we KNOW brings down the level of the offense.

No one worships Brohm, people just want to see if he can play or not. Especially since there is nothing to lose. Brohm is an unknown and at this point that is better than what we already know about Trent.

It's a pointless thread. Nobody is going to say keep Trent in if he keeps stinking up the joint, just like nobody is going to say pull him out if he's throwing for 300 yards and 3 tds every week.

What do you expect people to do, say "No, keep Trent in, we like watching him throw for 130 yards."

My initial response is anybondy but Edwards. But between the two back-ups Brohm has the highest rate of potential. Potential has long passed Fitzcraptrick.

Which is why I provided options... Fitz, Brohm, or keeping Edwards in.

And if you look at the votes there are in fact people that would keep Trent in anyway.

There have already been a number of similar threads like that already, asking what the Bills should do if Trent plays well.

Well it isn't going to happen. People that don't want to admit making a mistake about Trent need to get over it & accept the fact that he sucks.

not necessarily. Personally, I would like to see Brohm but I won't complain if Fitz gets first crack. If that really does happen on Sunday I will want to see anyone but Trent in week 3.

Not sure why this thread is so difficult to comprehend. It's a straight forward question...

If Trent continues to suck what would you want to see happen going forward?

I'm not a huge Brohm fan, but I did vote for him. He's the only one on our team who is still relatively unknown (as related to potential). Based on what I saw of him in the preseason, I'd take the unknown with possible potential rather than a known scrub. Brohm may very well be that too, but regardless we're most likely going to lose with Edwards or do just enough with Fitz to be average on offense. So with Brohm it's either the same result or a pleasant surprise to build on.

Well I guess the point is the majority of people on this board know Trent & Fitz suck & they want to see what Brohm has to offer.

No one worships Brohm, people just want to see if he can play or not. Especially since there is nothing to lose. Brohm is an unknown and at this point that is better than what we already know about Trent.

What we know about Brohm is that (a) he lost a competition for a back-up job in GB and (b) he couldn't beat out Edwards for a starting job in Buffalo.

Those two facts cause me to have little hope that Brohm is anything more than benchfodder.

Edwards gets at leat 5-6 games to dig his grave as far as I am concerned.

True but Brohm was also playing with 3rd stringers. Fitz also beat out Trent last year.

Against 3rd stringers, playing with the 3rd stringers, of course its his fault 3rd stringers drop balls too, did you watch the games?

what is the point to this thread

Wow...is there an echo in here?

What does the title say? Is there a clearly worded poll when you entered the thread? My dog walked by the computer and said Fitzy, so he understood what the point was.

One person says it's pointless, and they start piling on "rabble rabble rabble rabble what's the point rabble rabble rabble rabble."

The point of this thread is the OP wanted to know what your opinion would be, concerning the teams direction at QB in week 3, should Trent Edwards (the current QB) have a game as lackluster (bad) as he did last week against Miami (week 1, home opene.)

He then gave you a choice of Fitzy, Brohm, and two choices to keep Trent in the game; one because we would be so bad we'd get the #1 pick, and another, which indicated you still feel that Trent is the best we had.

The point was to get your opinion, and maybe your thoughts on the subject. You obviously copied somebody else's answer...and you were supposed to have an original thought.

I voted for Brohm, so I guess that makes me a Brohm licker, or whatever we call the guys that aren't hopelessly devoted to Trent. To answer the dumb question about if TE goes for 400, I would roll with Trent.

I don't get why there is all of the agitation...you'd think Pat started this thread.

Trent was supposed to be the best we had. If he plays like he did last week, then I am not convinced, and I want proof. I want to see somebody else, and I'll decide.

I will say I wouldn't mind Fitzy. We were 5-4 with him in last year, and he looked really sharp after the Washington game.

Depends on if he's throwing incompletions down the field and getting racked around, or playing scared again. If it's the latter, I'd be all for a QB change for week 3, and I don't care which one gets the start.

Trents contract is over after this season correct ? I don't know if it's possible but I wish to god he could lead us to a win today.

I am so sick of spending all week getting excited for some "good" Bills football only to be depressed by halftime and looking to see what the 4 o'clock games are or better yet snoring like a lumberjack with my head tilted back.

BUT ! In order to satisfy the thread I voted Brett Brohm :laughter:
