PITTSBURGH - There is a question that you never have to ask Wayne Maddox about his son, Steelers quarterback Tommy Maddox. The reason, the answer is obvious every time you hear him speak about him.
Wayne was in Pittsburgh recently, spending time with Tommy, watching him practice and attending the Mario Lemieux Golf Outing with him. His eyes sparkled as he talked about his youngest son and when he talked about the type of father his son has become, you knew you didn't have to ask if he was proud of Tommy.
