...fake punt near the end of the first half?

I was hoping they would pull this off, or at least try. It was only a couple of yards and just a few seconds left in the half so why not try some razzle dazzle?

I know exactly which one you're saying.

I was thinking, just hold on to it and run to the left. The whole side was way open. And as I recall Moorman has some wheels.

It'll happen at least once this season.

I hope.

After the way the ND game ended Sat night, I've seen enough S/T fakes to last me the rest of the season.

I was pulling for this as well.

If we had a decent QB and using the RBs that we have as bait; go for it; force the D to load the box by lining up in an I formation then play action.

I wanted it too. DeHaven is not a "crazy" as April... that and Moorman was nursing a sore back (I think.) It would have been a little unfair to ask him to run that.

I think every fan wanted to see it. I'd like to see Moorman QB a pass/punt option offense on every down. Hell, might as well catch the other team off guard by punting on 2nd down.

I would have liked to see one too but I forgot about Moorman being listed as questionable for the game.

Ah crap. I forgot about that too. Imagine how bad the team would be if Moorman got hurt. :ill:

How sucky do you have to be for your punter to be your MVP for 8 straight years?

Didn't realize that about Moorman. I was out of town and missed the morning news etc and had to settle for a DVR version of the game. I should have saved the space the game took up for something more exciting.
